Big 5 International Building and Construction Show

November 23 - November 26, 2009 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE

Waterworks exhibited at the Canadian Pavilion at the Big 5 Tradeshow. The Big 5 International Building and Construction Show is one of the largest tradeshows in the Middle East. This tradeshow consists of exhibitors from all over the world with about 58,000 visitors at the 2009 tradeshow.

Waterworks will participate in the 2010 Big 5 tradeshow to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on November 22 - 25, 2010.

Jeddah Signing with the Minister of International Trade

June 2009 - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

In June 2009, Waterworks Technologies attended an event in conjunction with the Government of Canada and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event opened up business and ties with Saudi Arabian companies. Waterworks Technologies signed an agreement with a Saudi Arabian company. Waterworks Technologies has been in business in Saudi Arabia since 2006 and has a regional office in Al Khobar.

2009 Alberta Export Award for Sustainability

March 2009 - Edmonton, Alberta

Waterworks was awarded the 2009 Alberta Export Award for Sustainability. The award recognizes Alberta companies that achieve excellence in export capabilities throughout the world. Waterworks' Trenton Sukovieff was present to accept the prestigious award for the company.

Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia visits Waterworks' Al Khobar office

The Saudi Arabia office of Waterworks Technologies opened business in Al Khobar in 2006. In January 2010, the Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia visited the Al Khobar office along with a senior trade commissioner.

Luncheon with Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach

As part of the Premier's visit to the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, Waterworks Technologies was invited to a luncheon with the Premier.

The event also corresponded with a signing ceremony between the Alberta government and the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, represented by the Department of Economic Development,

Breakfast Roundtable with Deputy Minister of the Executive Council

Waterworks Technologies was invited to participate in a breakfast roundtable in Dubai. The event was hosted by the Alberta Government and the Deputy Minister of Executive Council.

Waterworks awarded a Charitable donation award by the Fundacion Mexicana Para El, Desarrollo Rural De Matamoros A.C.

Waterworks provided a surface water treatment system for a small municipality in Mexico. After the system was installed and commissioned, Waterworks was presented with a plaque in honour of that project.

Waterworks Participates in Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE

In 2009, the Alberta Ministry of International and Intergovernmental Relations with Canadian Embassy and Export Development Canada coordinated a trade mission in which Waterworks participated. This was part of the Oil and Gas Mission and in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference.
