CALGARY OFFICE
Waterworks Technologies has the following positions open in the Calgary office:
PROJECT TECHNICIAN
Waterworks seeks self-motivated individuals to execute our water and wastewater projects. The potential candidates will assist with the management, assembly, logistics, commissioning and testing of turnkey containerized and skid mounted water and wastewater systems in Canada, US and worldwide. Minimum 2-3 years hands-on related experience required.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of water and/or wastewater treatment techniques including filtration, basic hydraulics, pumps, motors, basic electricity, basic blueprints, basic pipe fitting, civil works (including basic framing, concrete pouring, concrete finishing). Experience in membranes systems, biological treatment and system operations would be beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to respond to demands of the project manager and clients with the ability to work without supervision.
- Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel around North America
PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER
Waterworks seeks a conscientious individual to design, manage, supervise and install water and wastewater treatment plants. To assist with the management, assembly, logistics and testing of turnkey containerized and skid mounted water and wastewater systems in Canada, US and worldwide. Minimum 5-7 years hands-on experience required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent administrative/organization skills to schedule/complete multiple tasks/ projects with tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication skills to respond to demands of the public, agencies, external consultants, senior managers
- Some land development regulatory authorities experience is an asset or working with the approvals process.
SENIOR ENGINEER
An exciting opportunity exists with Waterworks for results-oriented professional senior engineer to take a lead role in our Calgary office. The role includes but not limited to developing turnkey advanced/conventional water and wastewater systems, business development and overseeing projects. Minimum 10 years hands-on water and wastewater treatment experience required with 5-10 years managerial role.
Qualifications:
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to staff including recruitment
- Solid design skills with background in process/mechanical engineering
- Advanced knowledge of environmental legislation, guidelines and policies, principles/practices of industrial/ municipal environmental controls, and waste management theories, principles and practices; experience in a field environment, meeting conflicting/changing deadlines; superior interpersonal skills; demonstrated communication, presentation, project management and conflict resolution skills; strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to prepare technical reports; working knowledge of computers/software
TECHNICAL MARKETING AND SALES EXECUTIVE

Qualifications:

SENIOR ENGINEER
An exciting opportunity exists with Waterworks for results-oriented professional senior engineer to take a lead role in our Dubai office. The role includes but not limited to developing turnkey advanced/conventional water and wastewater systems, business development and overseeing projects in the Middle East.
Duties include:
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to staff including recruitment
- Managing and motivating a team of sales and project engineers to achieve the companies goals and annual sales
- Maintaining designs, budgets and technical proposal for water and wastewater projects
- Overall project management of awarded projects, including managing project costs and analyzing project expenditures
Qualifications:
- Solid design skills with background in process/mechanical engineering

DESIGN AND TECHNICAL ENGINEER
Waterworks seeks a conscientious individual to design, manage, supervise and install water and wastewater treatment plants. To assist with the management, assembly, logistics and testing of turnkey containerized and skid mounted water and wastewater systems in Middle East and worldwide. Minimum 5-7 years hands-on experience required.
Duties include:
- Responsible for design of the RO (reverse osmosis) systems, water and wastewater treatment systems
- Design and drawing of required technical system
- Prepare technical and project proposals and costing and make necessary client presentations
- Responsible for checking and finalizing of tender documents/submittals
- Gather technical requirements and advise clients on technical solutions and costs
- Monitor and coordinate the site to ensure compliance with the design parameters
- Other duties as may be required
Qualifications:

Waterworks Egypt has an immediate opening for a Marketing Engineer. This position will be based in Cairo, Egypt.
MARKETING ENGINEER - WATERWORKS EGYPT
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years experience in water and wastewater technologies and processes. Reverse osmosis and industrial wastewater experience is a must.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
Duties include:
- Responsible for developing the growing business in Egypt - must be able to market the company's technologies and services to existing customers and prospective clients.
- Supervision and support of the site activities and technicians.
- Travel to sites when required.
The position will report to the General Manager in Dubai and the Senior Project Manager in Canada.
